size=2>Another idea for the drone bass may be to use conventional guitar pickups
but then provide the feedback mechanism necessary to keep the strings vibrating
by adding one of those small floor shaker type drivers to the guitar body. The
shaker has the frquency response for bass and it will provide just what you need
to keep the string(s) vibrating.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

units are similar to speakers but instead of moving a cone they move a weight to
provide vibration. They need to be driven by an amplifier with several watts of
