<P>Hello all, new to the list so forgive me if this has been discussed 

before.</P>

<P>After a break of 18 years I’m back into synth building again. So, I ask, 

where have all the quality capacitors gone? Living in the UK I would normally go 

to Maplin for my VCO 1nF polystyrene’s but they’ve now discontinued these along 

with Silver Mica and Polycarbonate. Farnell still do the Poly’s but they’re Ł1 

each with a minimum order of 10 units. So where do we shop?</P>

<P>I have some old 1nF Silver Mica but I’m reluctant to use these for VCO timing 

without seeing the temp’ coeff’ data.</P>
