On top of all the other (very valid) comments the others have made, add this to the pile: I'll scratch. Like no-ones busniness. On top of that, if you drop it, from the slightest hieght, i'll crack.<BR>

I had a plexi display made for the company i work for. Basically a column 7 feet high with an overhang on i with cut-outs so we could mount our in-wall speakers in it for tradeshows. the overhang on top of course was for the in-ceiling inwall (duh).<BR>

Had a custom roadcase made for it. Now, bare in mind a plexi place made this, they specified the maerial thickness based on it's application. They also spec'd how to protect the enclosure in the roadcase and it had much more padding than the ones we use for our own speakers.<BR>

Well, CES came up and on a DRIVE from LA to Vegas, in AN EMPLOYEE's cushie SUV, when we opened it up at the show there was a semi-circular crack all along one side. Trash before it's maiden voyage.<BR>

<FONT SIZE="2">I tried using plexiglass. It's hard to drill but I'll bet there's a way to drill them with good results - I just can't recommend what that is because I gave up after seeing the crappy results I got.</FONT> <BR>
