network, filters to route the signal to the correct speaker. Low frequencies
(say less than 200 Hz) to the woofer, Mid frequencies (perhaps 200 Hz to 4
kHz) to the a...... Mid range speaker, and High frequencies (greater than 4
kHz) to the tweeter.</FONT></DIV>

I was at a dance Saturday night. The DJ was using a pair of popular 2-way
powered speakers (made in the Seattle area) with a 15 inch woofer and a
horn tweeter. The sound was awful. The light went on. Those two ways with
giant woofer and horn seldom sound good. What is the most important
range of frequencies for clear voice and instrument fundamentals? The
mids. At what frequency range is the crossover from 15 inch woofer to the
horn? Right in the middle of voice frequencies. Do filters shift phase at
crossover? Use a three way any day.</FONT></DIV>

sure how to call this but basicaly i wana make rows of LED's (light emiting
diodes) and make then *jump* to the beat of the music. Could anyone please
direct me to some schematics? or maybe just where to start
