<P>repaired a couple with broken keys in at work. Unless the fault is somthing simple like a power supply problem or such, you will find the going pretty hard, as the main board will be all surface mount. Reparing surface mount stuff is a big hassle, and most times it is easier ordering a new main board. You got nothing to loose anyway!!! Good luck...</P>

<DIV></DIV>>Morning all...
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Does anyone know anything about this beast? I just bought a dead one very
<DIV></DIV>>cheap on ebay. The reviews I've found give it a good report so I'm gonna try
<DIV></DIV>>and get it going rather than break it up for the parts (which was my
<DIV></DIV>>original plan). Haven't been able to track down any schematics on the web
<DIV></DIV>>though. Does anyone know if the owners manual has schematics? cos I've seen
<DIV></DIV>>these for sale on the web and they're still available from Korg.

<DIV></DIV>>Hi,
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>This morning I just stumbled across my ECG master replacement guide. So
<DIV></DIV>>I had a look at it. Under R5105 I only found a replacement for a
<DIV></DIV>>NPN-Transistor.
<DIV></DIV>>But they have two BBDs:
<DIV></DIV>>ECG1641 8pin-DIL, VDD=15V,VGG=-14V 1024 stages delay, from 5.12 to 51.2 ms
<DIV></DIV>>(Clockgenerator chip: ECG1639)
<DIV></DIV>>ECG1642 14pin-DIL, VDD=15V, VGG=-14V, dual channel delay (2 x 512 stages),
<DIV></DIV>>PMOS, up to 25.6ms delay.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Maybe this is of help
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Regards,
<DIV></DIV>>Alex
