Another notable point is I've never seen any OTA from any of them, even though they would be easy to clone, which tends to indicate the market for OTAs was never that large outside of audio and so cloning is left to audio specialist IC companies.

Never seen it mentioned here. Ok, it does not have JFET inputs. But +-
18V supply.
I saw that in a Peavey guitar amp from 2010 or so.
