[sdiy] [OT] LM13700 spotted in commercial product of big Manufacturer

Howdy,

the bassguitar amplifer "Rumble 40" by none less than Fender,

has, in area D..C / 6..7  on page 1, and others, a LM13700.

Is that just a not-wise choice, or do they know it won't be buried in
the ancient parts graveyard for a while?
