Unfortunately there are about as many Audio over Ethernet 'standards' as there are major audio companies.  Dante is just one of a number and is very expensive to licence.  
AES50 and AVB are two different standards bodies attempts at a proper open standard, but there's still a lot of variations out there, and it's too expensive to build a conversion box as you'd have to licence each of the versions it could convert between.
