An annoying thing from RS is their recycling of their own ID codes.  I have some RS own label parts from the 80s and 90s where you enter the 7 digit RS number and see a totally different part displayed.

Just watch out for any thermal printed labels fading over time.  I've been caught out by this several times.  I've had thermal printed labels on packets from Farnell/Newark and RS components that have faded to unreadable in the space of 3 years.  This is despite them being stored in another sealed bag, in a cool dark place.
