[sdiy] Tantalum caps and power supply filtering

Hi all,
I'm fixing an eurorack module which has a dead tantalum capacitor (the one
between +12v and ground rail).
I gonna change this one and also the other filtering the negative rail, but
i'm wondering if replacing them with ceramic capacitor or electrolytic ones
wouldn't be a better choice.
If so, do i have to find exact capacitive value or should i take care to
use a bigger capacitance ?

Thanks a lot for your advices !
Best
J.
