yeah, or how about having to register an account to get a much needed 
datasheet for a part, and then the whole email verification scheme 
doesn't work because of... spam filters or whatever, or takes hours or 
worse.


Or how about a manufacturer praising that great product for having 
features A, B, C, which lead you to an obvious seeming assumption of how 
great that thing would perform for your use case when using A, B, C. And 
then, digging through the datasheet and putting puzzler pieces together, 
turns out, you can use A or B but not A and B, and all of a sudden, the 
product doesn't seem that spectarular at all anymore. Without this being 
mentioned in the product presentation. Slightly misleading?
