[sdiy] Best way to get a +3.3V rail from +15V?

Hello Tom.  I am currently running a dsPIC with a 3.3V regulator that
is powered from a +/-8V rail.  It might not be the ideal solution, but
maybe you can alleviate some of the heat problem by distributing it
across two regulators, stepping down first to 8V and then 3.3V.
