Hi Magnus,
I have been wondering for some time now how a fully-analogue endless
potentiometer could be realized for this exact purpose. Any
arrangement using a permanent magnet in a coil's EM field looks
promising, but I haven't been able to find a suitable arrangement
ready-made.

In this case, such an endless rotary could be fed into some form of
integrator and used together with a normal rotary pot for coarse
tuning.

Cheers,
D.
