[sdiy] 3080 discrete clones

Hi Synth-DIY,

I've been contacted by a guy who intends to make 3080 replacements from 
discrete parts, ready-made on a small PCB the size of a DIP-8.

He's got first prototypes finished and is asking for folks who would be 
willing to test them in their (preferrably filter) circuits.  The plan is 
he'll send you a bunch _for free_ and expects you to give him back a 
meaningful test report on what did or did not work and what the performance 
is relative to the real 3080s.  As he doesn't speak or write english, it 
would be preferred if you could communicate with him in german, but I'd be 
willing to translate for a handful of people.  If you are interested, please 
reply to me directly (not to the list) and indicate what you intend to test 
the parts with and when you'll be able to deliver your test report.  I'll 
then relay your requests and let you know whether you'll get parts and how 
to proceed further.   Thank you.
