Well, temperature effects are certainly large.  But why don't they say 
so?  Also, nonlinearities with voltage are probably important.  You can see 
the same discrepancy in discrete MOSFET specs.  This was the main reeason I 
stayed away from MOSFET discharge switches for a long time, but in fact 
they work fine.
