[sdiy] Transistor Pair Expo Questions?

Hello Everyone,

I got a couple of questions about the control voltages feed to the base of
the transistor pairs in an exponential converter.

First at the base of the transistor isn't the voltage around 16-18mv per
octive? ie 1 voltage change in CV gives 16-18mv at the transistor base.

Second question wouldn't that be the same for both a npn pair used in a VCO
and a pnp pair used with an OTA?
