Hi,

Has anyone heard of using Glass Fiber elements in Pots?

I've been chatting with SongHuei where I get my pots and looking at some 
'Master Series' sliders.
Initially the online specs stated that the elements would be Conductive 
Plastic with life cycle of c.300,000, but now by email they've said 
they'd be Glass Fiber.
Google didn't come up with any further info on such elements, so I 
thought I'd ask at the fountain of knowledge!
