[sdiy] Digital VS Analog waves and perceived bass content?

How about you look at DAC and notice that it's actually analog
voltages created using (perhaps) digital control. Just like a DCO, or
a VCO with numerically controlled pitch CV. In fact, the majority of
DACs are built so that they can work as digitally controlled
attenuators, letting through analog voltages completely unchanged,
except for the attenuation level, controlled with the digital signal
being sent to the DAC.

Or how about you record an analog wave, then play it back from cd.
then it's digital. and it has (nearly) the same frequency content.
therefore, your question is easily answered with 'you're asking the
wrong question'.

There really is no "digital vs analog".

Cheers,
D.
