Noise and distortion should be no problem with a 4066. On-resistance
is a little bit voltage dependend, which *could* produce distortion -
it won't, if you load the switched signals with a high impedance (100k).

If you have several signals to choose from, only one (stereo pair) at a
I'd rather use something like the CD4051. Same Technology, only that
switches are organized as 1p8t already. Also very cheap.
